...rear-ended. Red Explorer going WAY too fast over a hill that I was stopped just on the other side of. My bumper will need to be replaced, my trunk lid will need to be either repaired and repainted or replaced, and my rear right door won't open or close without more force than should be necessary. She claims responsibilty, gonna get everything straightened out. I'm okay, as is she, as are the two cars in front of mine that were also hit in the chain reaction. I got the worst of it, everyone else came away with just a few scratches. I never thought that my uber-mini digital camera would actually have a useful function. [Smile]

Oh, ferchissakes, car arguments are almost as tiring as Mac vs PC ones.

On the other hand, I take continual childish delight in the American use of the term "rear ended".

Yes, you're despicable, and... and picable... and... and you're definitely, definitely despicable. How a person can get so despicable in one lifetime is beyond me. It isn't as though I haven't met a lot of people. Goodness knows it isn't that. It isn't just that... it isn't... it's... it's despicable.

Did anyone see about some MIT? Physics graduate in California who supposedly destroyed heaps of SUV in an arson attack last year as well as graffitiing a lot of others? He supposedly posted an anonymous e-mail saying that he was better looking that the supposed suspect at the time.
They said he was on 1 million dollars bail and if found guilty could end up in jail for 40 years!

All this SUV talk here... lol

I don't like SUV's either. Though only because IMHO they are so FUCKIN' UGLY!!!
But thanks to their astronomical fuel consumption (and their size that doesn't seem to fit in any standard parking space) - they are not so popular over here.

I don't know about not liking SUV's, I'm waiting for Toyota to release their Highlander Hybrid in 2005.

Oh, at least you didn't drive into your classmate's car door at Panda Express like what I did this week.

I'm not a terrible driver either. Unless you're tailgating me, then things can get ugly.
