Yes that was in my best Comic Book Store Guy voice. This came from something that we were talking about at work.

Some of the top miscasting include:

Edward G. Robinson as Dathan in the 10 Commandments (1956)

or

John Wayne as the Centurion in The Greatest Story Ever Told (1965)
and as Temujin, later Genghis Khan in The Conqueror (1956)

Please add your recommendation to the list...

Sandra Bullock as Wonder Woman. Brock Peters as Joseph Sisko. Keanu Reeves as anything other that Ted "Theodore" Logan. Nicholas Cage as Superman.

I've seen a pic of Nicolas Cage's head on Superman's body...it looks funny as hell.

Actually, I must admit, Brock Peters was a good choice for Joseph Sisko, it's just too bad that he also played a second Character in Trek.

Besides, Avery Brooks did a wonderful Ben-Sisko-does-Brock-Peters-does-Joseph-Sisko impression. "The Souffle will rise or it won't. There's not a damn thing you can do about it."

Worst Casting in my opinion? Leonardo DiCaprio in ANYTHING!!!

Oh, Brock Peters was SO wrong for Joseph Sisko. Who was right? Louis Gossett, Jr. Yeah.

Hey, let's not bash Leonardo DiCaprio, he was really good in the Beach, especially when Darth Vader encased him in carbonite.

Actually I thought The Beach and The Quick and the Dead were the only good parts he ever was casted in. I had not wanted to see The Beach specifically because Dicaprio was in it. But, with the exception of the tripped-out video game scene, it was a good screenplay of the book.

And Brock Peters was an excellent choice for Joseph Sisko. I agree that I didn't like his double role, but I don't criticize his casting for that.

Worst casting choice: Tom selick (I think that was his name) for Indiana Jones. If Ford hadn't decided to do it, that supposedly was Lucas's choice.
Pleh.

Billy Zane as Mr Methane, no, sorry, the phantom. Glad I didn't see it. Treat Williams has dropped, also...

The Only movie Leonardo DiCaprio was good in was "What's eating Gilbert Grape", saw it not too long ago. All other movies, he gives me the impression of a very selfish person who's too proud of his looks and who probably believes he is God's Gift to Women.

Am I missing something? What's everyone's problem w/ Brock Peters' having played two different parts in Trek? Look at the other actors who have played recurring characters, but also smaller parts. I can think of Tony Todd and Marc Alaimo offhand. No-one has a problem w/ their parts, do they?
