Has anyone else seen this movie? I saw it last night and it scared the shit out of me. Just the way the video was shown and how Samara came out of the TV and moved and killed Noah... *shudder*

It was really freaky. The whole blurring-of-the-faces in photographs and on film was really weird. Another thing was how Aidan was somehow attuned to Samara, in that he knew what would happen when she was "freed" as it were. "Don't you see, she never sleeps..." I wonder, though, if it's actually possible to be scared so much that you die and end up looking like Katie and Noah did in the movie? Probably just one of those things added for effect. Very effective, mind you. [Frown]

A remake that perhaps didn't have to have been made, maybe. Probably because people are too inattentive to read subtitles.

I can barely read, myself. Inattentiveness has nothing to do with it.

I want to see this movie. Has to be a lot better than it's clone Fear Dot Com which was stupid as hell.

I'm slightly annoyed at Hobbes' rather rude decision to be much more attractive than me though. That's just rude. - PsyLiam, Oct 27, 2005.

from what i understand, a video of someone eating a bowl of gerbil turds with a pitchfork would be better than fear dot com.

Just saw this movie tonight. It was decent, got some fairly strong panic/creep-out reactions from me. It was a good scare.

Unfortunately , that was pretty much all it was to me. There seemed to be little that distinguishes it from scores of other similar films. The plot was a bit too convoluted and by the time that last big twist came around, my reactions had mostly been used up. But, so long as you just felt like being scared shitless for a hour or two, it's one to see.
