Microsoft UK apparently commissioned Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant to do a (spoof) training video with Gervais playing David Brent.

The first part runs for 20 minutes and the second for 17 minutes.

They've been uploaded to Google Video and the good thing about this service is that you can download them. It's like watching the lost episode of
The Office.

Gervais is a cunt, and he needs to go away.

I don't know it, but if you sing the first line, I can pick it up on the piano! ;-)

True, but Lee's still right. I was hoping that he'd stay in America and get eaten by a very angry badger. Or something. I dunno, I hadn't realy worked out the details.

The Murdoch empire's. . . 'organs' doesn't really cover it, 'excrescences' works much better. . . they really went to town on his Simpsons episode, hypeing (hyping?) it beyond all belief as the greatest single cultural event of this millenium. I didn't see it but by all accounts it was crap.

It was the television equivalent of having a case of crabs. Incredibly irritating, and you sure as hell wouldn't want to repeat the experience.
