Author Topic: Firefox Bookmarks Fabrux Epic Member Member # 71 posted                       Say, for instance, you had a huge stash of bookmarks in Firefox. Then, your hard drive crashes. You didn't get the chance to export all your bookmarks to a handy HTML file. But, you did manage to pull the data from your crashed harddrive, including the entire XP Documents and Settings folder. If you copy it over to the profiles folder in your new installation, and edit the .ini file there with the name of the new folder, it should load all your old stuff - bookmarks, settings, extensions. Space Cadet Member # 858 posted                       More specifically: C:\Documents and Settings\(Username)\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\(stringof#s&As).default If you just want the bookmarks instead of all that other stuff, the bookmarks.html file is in that folder.
