As things start to wind down, my exams will be over in a week, and I'll soon be traveling back home, I would like to reflect. I guess, being that time of year, I am feeling much more relieved and satisfied with what comes to me. This year was the first year I had to ask my parents for some money, for food, car insurance, etc. I'd like to thank them for it when I get home. I think of the social gatherings I've gone to, and I always remember coming back here. Everyone here, from Baloo, to Lee, Garak, and even DT... You are all my friends. You guys listen to my rants, correct my mistakes, and laugh at my jokes(which I don't get much IRL). The interactions with others shows that we are truly a community. We've all argued with one another, or agreed with each other, for that matter...but through all this we really enjoy it here. Those who find this placesee the community we have formed, and those who come back want to a part of that community. I'd like to take a moment to relax, enjoy the night, and thank everyone for the wonderful experiences I've had here. What is it that you guys enjoyed most about these forums?

Again, Thank you.

It's just a big laugh here. I stumbled in accidentally through a link in TGL just over a year ago now. I really liked this community feel then, and still do (although with work commitments now, I can't post as much as I did when I was at university). We all have our own viewpoints and as you said, we don't agree a lot of times, but it usually ends with everyone still friends.

Here's to the approaching new millennium and to this (growing) community.

BTW Brian, that sounded like a goodbye post. Will you not be posting any longer?

What can I say? In the short time I've been here i've made tons of friends, along with a great boyfriend, and have been revered as the Forum SexGoddess. You are all great people who are creative, and just as sick and demented as I am. I love you guys! *LOL*

Plus the inside jokes are cool.

Today (or it may have been yesterday) is the second anniversary of my first post way back at the UP board. *GratefulDeadspeak* What a long, strange trip it's been. :-)
