I think we should all join JeffK in congratulating him on his lucky escape. Why, if Nader had found out he was sick, he'd have been round campaigning for his right to die with dignity, or, worse, actively aiding in it.

*pause*

Or am I thinking of Kevorkian?

That'd be Kevorkian.

Or Hannibal Lector, who lives around the corner from me (quite literally).

He was great in Titus. You should get his autograph on a human hand. It'd sell for, like, $1,000,000.00 on ebay.

Wait...Stacy Keach plays Hannibal Lector?

On a side note, watching "From Russia With Love" has never been the same since "Silence Of The Lambs"...

Why?

Another thing, Brian Cox played Hannibal Lector long before Sir Hopkins. Not that I don't like Andy's interpretation.

Yeah, we sell "Manhunter"...I liked Brian Cox as Goering in TNT's "Nuremberg" more, though.

Nimmy: it was a joke. There's a show here in "The Land Of Lard & Honey" called "Titus," based on a comedian's routine about his fucked-up life with his hardass yet strangely supportive dad, who's played by Stacy Keach, Jr. (the guy from "Mike Hammer" fame)

As for the the Bond ref: Bond was there to get the Lektor decoding machine from Tatyana Romanova...so everytime he asks about it & she begs him to bone the holy tek't out of her again...Hopkins...fava beans...yeah.

Oh, Nimmy, is it? Yesterday it was "what's for dinner?" and "can't you take care of that?"
And you never bring me flowers anymore, what's that all about?
