Thats right, folks. The former Flare poster known as Elim Garak, not seen online since around June 21, 2000, has been located by yours truly. Turns out we attend the same university so I used the student email system to contact him. We're trying to fit a meeting into our schedules. This little mystery has bother a few people around here, myself included. Some of the newer members might not know him at all. I might be able to convince him to come back to Flare.
Upon my asking him why he left, he had this to say:

Also coming up on the 11 o'clock news hour, Flare poster Christopher "Topher" Martin was arrested today for violating the restraining order filed against him by fellow poster Christopher "Siegfried" Holly. Houston Police arrested Martin, a serial stalker from Canada, after Holly reported to 911 Dispatch that someone was hiding behind his garbage cans giggling. When asked to comment, Flare poster Jeff "Darth Jeep" Benson said, "I told Siggy to get a gun, but that damn fool never listens to me. He deserves what he gets."

Bizarre. I was speaking with Adam Bauer, Ben's colleague over at TNO, and he said he'd just discovered he went to the same college as him. I was releieved to find out he's doing OK.
Well, it was nice to hear from RW, a few weeks ago!

The Chinese girl == Tora Ziyal, now known as Tora [something else]. She's been around more, recently. CC's significant other has/had the name Jubilee McGann. I don't recall whether that's still current or not. And there are at least two other female posters. The one who disappeared was Jedi Weyoun. As far as I know, she vanished into "real life". Same w/ Baloo. And Daryus is still around, albeit not regularly.
