Motor Trend, May '99, "Trends" column:

'For those concerned about a millennium meltdown, South African inventer Charles Fourie has come up with just the ticket: The Blaster, a flamethrower mounted on a car's undercarriage designed to thwart carjackers and all manner of bad guys.

Legal in South Africa but only a fantasy in the U.S., the Blaster sends a decidedly lethal wall of flames out four gas jets beneath the doors on both sides of the car -- without singeing the vehicle.

Fourie told the Associated Press Television News he has installed the Blaster on 25 cars, and added, unnecessarily, "It will stop a carjacker in his tracks."'

To quote Will Smith in ID4: "I have GOT to get me one o' these!"

Josh: I think they're getting to know each other a bit too well, if you catch my drift.
Me: Oh, I agree. I think they're spending too much time together, that is of course, if you catch my drift.
Asher: I think he's *ucking her, and he's cheating on his wife, and he's risking his marriage, and if his wife finds out about it she'll leave him and take their son, and his life will be ruined. If you catch my drift...

Oooo!

Decorative and practical!

Repel carjackers and always have the means to roast marshmallows on a family picnic!

I'll take two!

Oh yeah, no possibility for misuse here.

"And in the news today, the entire downtown area is ablaze after a man reportedly used his flamejets while parked next to a propane truck."
