Hm... Even more amazing is the fact that this ancient civilization somehow contacted George Lucas, getting him to make the stuff in SW look like their ancient machines...

Well, as anyone who follows the kookzone knows, Mr. Hoagland is a very vocal defender of various...theories. The face on Mars, for instance, or the amazing crystal cities on the moon. Lack of actual crystal cities doesn't seem to bother him much.
Still, he does get into fights with the equally kooky "Apollo was a fake" folks, which makes for some interesting entertainment.
