BTW, just in case the thread title didn't clue you in, I'm against yakkin' on the phone while you're trying to guide a 1.5-2 ton missile down the road at lethal velocities.
anyone else notice that the people who have the least to talk about are the most likely to be on the phone?

There was talk of trying to ban talking on cell phones while driving by the provincial government here in British Columbia a little while back, but then another big scandal hit and everyone forgot about it (isn't democracy great? ). Personally I don't think it would be very practical to enforce, but as they say, its the thought that counts.
And for the record, I have driven and talked on a cell phone once. It was indeed, very distracting (especially since I was driving a standard in the city, talk about juggling), and I won't do it again.

It's illegal in several states, if I've heard correctly...not sure which ones, though.

I've had to make a call on the cellphone while driving before... It didn't last long, I pulled off the road and dialed again. I did NOT like it...

I HATE telephones.
I try to keep all my phone conversations under five minutes.. under two minutes, if at all possible.
Unfortunately, my gf doesn't, oh she of the eternal comma...
