How about: we were too busy thinking up amusing and distinctive taglines to give a flying f*** what colour they're in?

Uh, could someone remove that truck from The First One's rectal cavity!? It's giving him an attitude problem...

Anyways, amusing and distinctive taglines are just fine for those of us who posess an ounce of creativity, but for the rest of us, our options are limited to taking a non-amusing and hardly distinctive tagline and souping it up with HTML colors, italics, etc etc to compensate for our lack of creativity. This is why I discovered "the obviuous". This is also why First One's outburst was uncalled for. Any questions?

But that's what makes them so precious! Would Red Dwarf be funny if people were polite to Rimmer?

Exactly. If it wasn't for us you'd still be watching Family Ties and The Cosby Show. And thinking they were funny too.

Yes, and Britain's the nice little country that brought us the teletubbies, too.

Right.... Can we tell them to go Fuck off now?

If it weren't for that universal British constant, we wouldn't have had things like Monty Python, Blackadder, Red Dwarf, etc etc etc. It's the fact that we can look at everything, even ourselves and take the piss that makes us different from everyone else. The day we lose this about ourselves will be a sad day indeed.

All hail the Universal British Constant!

Hmm. You're right about Barney. Except I once knew an actress who played one of the perky giant bees on the old "Romper Room." She was not a well woman.
