Clayton Moore (1914-1999) (Reuters) - Actor Clayton Moore, who galloped to fame on 1950s television as the Lone Ranger, the "daring and resourceful masked rider of the Plains," died on Tuesday at 85 of a heart attack, hospital officials said.
Who was that masked man? I wanted to thank him! [First Roy and now this. I suspect it won't be too long before Gene's gone, too. :P) ------------------ GAK! I just read the article! Gene's gone, too! http://members.tripod.com/~Bob_Baloo/index.htm

Well, Gene Autry is staring in the Great Western in the Sky as well.------------------ It's no use. I guess I'll have to leave all my money to the Egg Advisory Council. Eggs have gotten quite a bad rap lately, you know, Smithers. ~C. Montgomery Burns

What? Without blinking?Seriously, when I read the article and followed the links, I discovered Gene Autry had died in October. TW's grandmother died on Nov 1st that year, and her father died on the 4th, so Gene Autry's demise must've slipped my memory. --Baloo ------------------ CONSERVATIVE, n.
