My webpage was at http://www.crosswinds.net/~bae146 . I put a copy of AIM Remote Messenger on it http://www.aol.com/aim/remote.html and my provider, Crosswinds http://home.crosswinds.net/sign_up/terms.shtml complained. Can someone explain what is legally wrong with this?------------------

Maybe you should ask them which rule they think you violated and why they came to that conclusion. You might also try explaining what the AOL IM remote is.------------------ 7 alarm clock: "Do not touch me." Dilbert: "Then how do I turn you off?" 7: "Believe me, I am plenty turned off."

I don't think you did anything wrong, from what I see... Aren't AIM Remote Messengers supposed to be used on webpages?

Wouldn't said, uh, thingy, qualify as an affiliate program? I especially love how their link to recommended programs is broken. Anyway, wouldn't it?Maybe they think that Remote Messenger is a one way ticket to a wretched hive of filth and perversion. ------------------ "What did it mean to fly? A tremor in your soul.
