What's everyone's school's webpages look like? My school's webpage hasn't been updated in a while...

Elim's school's page is updated more often, though. I'd provde the URL, but he'd smack me something fierce. You can look for it yourself, though. The only part about it's name I'll give you is it's abbreviation: RHS. If I give anymore, I'll be a bloody pulp...

.edu is only meant for 4-year colleges/universities. Private schools usually use .org instead.

Some of us went to hs before the days of the internet. Or at least when it was still being used by nerds at Cal Tech to send math computations to nerds at Harvard.

I will have to check and see if'n they have come up to date and put a site up.

Now do we mean real school or high school?

At any rate, the source of all my current learning, that font of all things good and pure and true, Yakima Valley Community College.

Now what I'd really like to know is why the bizarre address for such a college, when Dipsville High gets a full blown .edu. Why create a seperate catagory for junior colleges when there isn't one for grade schools, or high schools, or prep schools, or schools for people with three arms who speak Swedish but only on Tuesdays? Or is this just some insanely Washingtonian quirk?

Actually, Dipsville High should be dipsville.iguana.k12.wa.us, with wa being the state and iguana being the school district. This works for all public schools. Private schools should be manchesterprep.pvt.k12.ny.us (or whatever), but most use .org, because they can. Or they could have gotten their domain name in 1992 when nobody was really checking who was claiming .edu ones.

Well, I went and looked and wat do you know? I found a webpage, not only for the Jr. College I attended right after H.S., but also a web page dedicated to my old high school's baseball scores (for what it's worth).

Yeah, I went to Sacramento City College. And I know that all the junior colleges of the Los Rios Community College District have their own websites. Of course, I'm finally going to Cal. State Sac. and I don't think you really need to know their website or Sac City College's site either.

BTW Baloo, which HS did you go to. I went to Luther Burbank, and knowing them, they have no website.

Well, my school's Web site isn't bad. However, if you'd like to see why I'm so much happier there than I was at high school, check out my high school's site. Fair warning: it's probably one of the most hideous things you'll ever witness. If you are pregnant, or have any sort of heart condition, it is not recommended that you follow that link.

OK,listen to this. Our school is computer-hell. The site has been made by my classmates, cuz no teacher knows how to do it (OK, 2 do know). It hasn't got its own domain, it's just a free site on the University's web. It's all Dutch, by the way:Wessel Gansfort College
