So tell me. What explainations have you heard why the moon landings were a hoax.
The feeblest one I've heard was that when the Apollo 1 capsule burned, killing astronauts Grissom, Chaffee, and White, NASA could not determine the cause of the fire (the oxygen explaination was only part of the cover-up). They decided to fake the rest of the missions to avoid loss of human life. They didn't want the public (or the Russians) to think we had dropped out of the space race. Missions were launched, but they were unmanned missions using robotic explorers, and the film of men exploring the moon were faked using desert locations and hollywood movie sets commandeered for the purpose.

I heard this malarky when I was a kid. Basically, humans are too stupid to go to the Moon: NASA faked the trip and kept the money.

WATCH THE DUST.
The dust that the astronauts traipsed through. It puffed up and fell in ways that are ONLY consistent with extremely low-G movement.
Sure, with modern computer graphics, we could imitate the same thing TODAY, but back THEN, computer graphics for even the most sophisticated computers weren't much better than "pong."
