I was thinking of how both anakin and Wesly were whisked off by people they hardly knew, thereby leaving their parents, and how their mothers did not seem to put up much of a fuss. I certainly would have been more reluctant, I mean, a complete stranger wanting to take my child to goodness knows where, with unseen danger? not knowing when I will see he or she again? How would you feel about that? Would you let you child go?

Well, Wesly was already out on his own and would be considered an adult by most standards. But I hear you about Anakin. I don't think I would let my kid go like that. But I'm not a slave. And I bet she thought that getting out of bondage and going with some important people would be much better than being stuck a slave.
