Only 4 of the 13 are grounded. Cracks happen when you have a 30 year old plane. And I doubt there's anything worng with the plane. They may have taken a bird down an engine. (That tends to mess them up.) And if you are short an engine or two and are heavy, it is really hard to climb. But I do feel sorry for the people on the plane. I heard they were all German tourists going to the US for a tip. What a way to start your vacation.
