Not officially released until Tuesday, I believe. I think I've got something to say, but I'll wait a bit. Like, until I've heard some of it, maybe. *looks at the date* Ok, so it isn't officially released until _later_ today. Sheesh, it isn't even today yet here. ------------------ love's function is to fabricate unknownnness -- E. E. Cummings **** Read chapter one of "Dirk Tungsten in...The Disappearing Planet"! MTV aired one of their new music videos. It's only 15-seconds long ------------------ Me: "Why don't you live in Hong Kong?" Rachel Roberts: "Hong Kong? Nah. Oh, but we can live in China! Yeah, China has great Chinese food!" (discussion with fellow classmate, 9/5/00)

Listened to Pablo Honey for the first time in a month two days ago. In all fairness lads, it's bloody brilliant. Guitars, drums, vocals, the works. And The Bends? *swoon* The new album is like someone in a trance playing with capacitors and tuning forks. ------------------ Remember December '59 The howling wind and the driving rain, Remember the gallant men who drowned On the lifeboat, Mona was her name.

I'm a bigger fan of Radiostar. They used to be called Honor Among Thieves. I know a guy who looks the guy who's in Radiohead. It's funny. He looks like a gnome. I just got an import CD of Impellitteri. You just got to love OK Computer's "Exit Music (From A Film)", it's just so powerful! That, and "Karma Police" and "Paranoid Android"------------------ Me: "Why don't you live in Hong Kong?" It was actually Paranoid Android and Karma police that got me into radiohead in the first place. I really like the crazy cartoon video for Android...------------------ "Life sucks, then you die"

"Honor among theives" is a rather old saying. The SR-71 Blackbird is a no-longer-used reconnaissance (read: spy) plane.------------------ "If the rope is a quarter of a Zeuslength in size, then the Defiant shalt most naturally be seven times the thirty-second part of a Zeuslength?" -Boris Skrbic, 27-Sep-2000

Actually, the X-Men plane is only vaguely similar to the real Blackbird. It definatly isn't an SR-71.Though, I thought NASA was still using 1 SR-71 for testing, specifically with the X-33 VentureStar's new engine. ------------------ Me: "Why don't you live in Hong Kong?" Well, maybe. But it isn't being used as a spy plane anymore. At least, not that the public knows of... :-)------------------ "If the rope is a quarter of a Zeuslength in size, then the Defiant shalt most naturally be seven times the thirty-second part of a Zeuslength?" -Boris Skrbic, 27-Sep-2000

I've been listening to Radiohead's Kid A for several weeks now. Found some program or other on the web that got me the music even before it was released. Odd.Anyway, it's possibly the most disturbing album I've ever heard. Quite different to OK Computer. Gotta love "The National Anthem" and "Idioteque" ------------------ "...I was just up in Canada, Toronto actually. You know, they really hate you guys [Americans] up there? The funny thing is, they think you hate them back, when in fact, you just couldn't be bothered to care. Now in Ireland, it's a different story. At least we had the common decency to wait until the English invaded before we started hating them. I guess the Canadians are hating you in advance..." -Irish Comic Ed Byrne on Canada-US relations
