Seriously, has anyone else noticed a big increase in the number of pop-up adds in the last few weeks, or is it just me? It's beginning to drive me crazy!

That's not the kind of sites I meant. Take TrekWeb for example. Not too long ago, it didn't have pop-up adds. Now it does. A Toonami board I visit now brings up a pop-up add with every thread. A news site for a video game series I'm a big fan of is now driving me crazy with the blasted things. Heck, even the Flare upload page has a pop-up!

Advertising revenue on the internet is at an all time low. Mainly due to many companies thinking that if they added ".com" after their name, they'd become instant millionaires. And they haven't. So, server prices going up, lots of other blah.

You're not paying for any of it. You can ignore them. Live with it. Roar.
