A while ago JeffK, Tahna Los, Omega, and myself were planning to play Brood War. I don't know what happened of it since I never got into.
Lately I've been playing a lot of Star Trek Armada, and was wondering who here that had the game would be interested in a game. It would be nice to get a few others for teams.

I would but the problem is that the game is buggy on my computer. After each scenario it stops loading and I have to take the CD out to sort of restart the loading process again. Plus whenever someones uses the Temporal techs the whole thing goes so slow that the entire explosion lasts 10 minutes. Its not my computer, no other game I have does this. Yes Sim City 3000 slows down a bit but it speeds up after 10 minutes of playing. Does anyone else have this problem with/without the patch?

I don't know of this problem, it has never occured on my computer, and I don't have a very good computer I might be interested in playing Armada online, but I stick to my beleif that it is one of the worst RTS games that are out there, because of it's severe lack of units. I have not found a suitable strategical combination of units in Armada and I've often had to rely on numbers to win, while we all know that the true strength of a strategy only exists when you vanquish an opponent with inferior numbers.

I agree on that, Armada could use a lot more ships.

Those problems describe above can be fixed by downloading the lastest patch at
I know they're making an Armada II, but whether it includes more ships or not I don't know.
There's the Millenium Project mod which adds a bunch of new ships. Actually, I think they simply replace the existing ships, I don't know if adds more. I never able to get the mod to work properly.
