Anyone know if there are any plans to release Stephen King's The Shining on DVD? Obviously, I'm not speaking of the book, but of the ABC mini-series made four or five years ago (and recently re-run on the Sci-Fi channel).
While I'm a fan of the Jack Nicholson/Stanley Kubrick version, I find the ABC mini-series a much much MUCH better adaption of the film.
Anyway ... why hasn't it come out on DVD, dammit?!

I don't know when they're going to release that, or even if they WILL.... it's not on the summer release list we got at work, at least....
HOWEVER, Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs will be released to DVD this summer, along with the ST movies that haven't already...... exciting, no?

Thank god. After all, if there's one thing everyone thinks when watching TMP, it's that the film needs to be longer...
