Warning. If you let your cats read this stuff, they might explode.

Ya know. To me this guy described nothing more in his models than a cube withing a cube. I always thought that the 4th dimension is uhhhh...I 'll call it dimensional frequency.

1D would be moving back and forth
2D + left and right
3D + Hight and depth
4D + In and out of dimesional frequencies. Like when you tune in and out of radio station frequencies 4D is like tuning in and out reality frequencies.

My computer science teacher told us that the 4th dimension was time. He may have been lying.

When I first opened this thread, though, I was expecting to be linked to a fundamental breakthrough in the Time Cube theory by Gene Ray.

Thank goodness it didn't.

Maybe we should point it out to old Gene, it may help him refine his theory....

I was writing a nice little explanation of hypercubes so everyone could understand it, but my computer crashed. Damn.

Oh, yeah, and regarding the fourth dimension...

There are four dimensions that we can perceive. The first three are length, width, and depth. The other one is time. Therefore, time can be referred to as the "fourth dimension" out of those four.

There are also more dimensions of space besides length, width, and depth. We just can't perceive them. Therefore, if one refers to the next spatial dimension after those three, it can be called the "fourth dimension".

The fourth spatial dimension is the one being referred to when talking about a four-dimensional hypercube.

And of course, there is the fourth perception dimension that are sometimes utilized by comic strips and sitcoms. It's also known as the fourth wall.

I've been reading way too many webcomics lately.

Don't tell.

Only a false god or academically brainwashed indoctrinated mindless moron would deny that the Earth lacks the top and bottom, the front and back, and 2-sides physical dimensions of a Cube that spirals a 4-season quad helixaround the Sun - creating a swirling of 4 simultaneous years as in a separately created year for each of 4 seasons.

You Word-Murder Your Children.
