Quite a while ago, I had a program called Magic Mover, which basically moved registered programs to other parts of your directory. For example, I have Program X and it is located in the "A" folder of my C drive, and it is a REGISTERED program, (that is, it has entries in the Windows registry and cannot be deleted unless you uninstall it), and I want to move it into the "B" folder of my C drive. What Magic mover did was that while it moved the program, it also altered the corresponding entries in the Windows Registry to point to the new location of the program.
I no longer have the program as it was trial and I threw it away, silly me. But has anyone else heard of this program or something similar to it? I really would like to have this program to help out my friend here. Thankx.

I think it's related to the program Partition Magic in one way or another. I remember reading something about it recently when I was cleaning out the list of "startup" launches on my computer...

It is indeed related. MM is part of the Partition Magic program, of which a trial version is available here.

Blarg. But that is only a demo, I doubt that Magic Mover will work on that version. My question is whether or not there is a similar STANDALONE program out there.
