Quite a while ago, I had a program called Magic Mover, which basically moved registered programs to other parts of your directory. For example, I have Program X and it is located in the "A" folder of my C drive, and it is a REGISTERED program, (that is, it has entries in the Windows registry and cannot be deleted unless you uninstall it), and I want to move it into the "B" folder of my C drive. What Magic mover did was that while it moved the program, it also altered the corresponding entries in the Windows Registry to point to the new location of the program.I no longer have the program as it was trial and I threw it away, silly me. But has anyone else heard of this program or something similar to it? I really would like to have this program to help out my friend here. Thankx.

I think it's related to the program Partition Magic in one way or another. I remember reading something about it recently when I was cleaning out the list of "startup" launches on my computer...

It is indeed related. MM is part of the Partition Magic program, of which a trial version is available here.

Blarg. But that is only a demo, I doubt that Magic Mover will work on that version. My question is whether or not there is a similar STANDALONE program out there.
