I'm off to D.C. for a week or so to attend the wedding of my future sister-in-law.
Everybody to nice to each other while I'm gone.

Excellent! You'll be in my neck o' the woods. Enjoy the sites, and if you're up in the Baltimore area, give me a ring.

You misunderstand. He's going to DC to attend the marriage of his sister, not to propose to you. 8)

Er. Eh. Whooops. I of course meant "ring" as in, pick up a phone and dial ten numbers.

Er, his future sister-in-law as in his brother's wife-to-be.

Oh don't you start with the Nixpicking, Nimmy. . .

Hey, I be having turnip dispensation. It's in my wallet, let me go check.
Anyway, I thought maybe we need to make it clear that we do see a difference between "sister" and "attractive cousin" here on Flare. *raises palms* Just sayin'... *raises palms a little more*

[qupte] Give me a ticket on an airplane, aint got time to take a fast train, lonly days are gone, I'm goin home, my baby, she wrote me a letter. (The Letter) [/quote]
Usless lyric quote of the day!
Can't recall who did the song.

quote:All my bags are packed, I'm ready to go I'm standing here outside your door I hate to wake you up to say goodbye
But the dawn is breaking, it's early morn' The taxi's waiting, he's blowing his horn Already I'm so lonesome I could die
So kiss me and smile for me Tell me that you'll wait for me Hold me like you'll never let me go 'Cause I'm leaving on a jet plane I don't know when I'll be back again Oh babe, I hate to go
There's so many times I've let you down So many times I've played around I tell you now, they don't mean a thing
Every place I go I think of you Every song I sing I'll sing for you When I come back, I'll wear your wedding ring
Now the time has come to leave you One more time, oh let me kiss you And close your eyes and I'll be on my way
Dream about the days to come When I won't have to leave alone About the times that I won't have to say

John Denver wrote that. Didn't sing it, but he wrote it.

Erk? Of all the ways my name could be used in everyday conversation... *rolls eyes*

TSN: Well, try "Chow" for starters.

Well, I have returned! Please try and contain all the excitement.
I would say for the record that on the return trip we landed in the state that contains the deadly Omega Virus, had a longish stopover, and have lived to tell about it.

You did a stop over in Tennessee? Where'd you fly out of? Reagan/National, Dulles, BWI?
Posted by Jay the Obscure (Member # 19) on :
We flew in and out of BWI in the sardine cans that makeup Southwest Airlines.
