Which will mean exactly zip to most of you. However, I'm off to Venice (in Italy, not California) with my fiance for a few days. Really looking forward to it. 8)

I caught the reference. Ha. When I went to Venice in 88 that ad was all the rage, and so my dad took up crooning that at the most inapropriate times. *sigh*Venice is nice though. Been there twice. Feeding pigeons with contraceptive-laced corn in St. Mark's Square kicks ass. [ October 03, 2001: Message edited by: The_Tom ]

I thought that maybe you had taken up the cornet, but couldn't spell it...

Have fun! Play with the pigeons and take a few gondola rides. However, from what my friends tell me, don't drink or swim in the canals.

Don't drink from the canals? Isn't that akin to, in any other city, saying "don't lick the streets"?

What's wrong with licking the streets?

We have Cornetto in Sweden, in a cone and with optional jam and nuts. Rarely buy it, though. Rarely buy ANY ice cream nowadays...

I'm back. Had a nice time. Only spent a day and a half in Venice, it does tend to get a bit same-y, especially when lost down the back streets at 1 in the moring, when it looks like Doom, only without dead bodies of monsters to let you know you've been there before and are going round in circles.
