Once again it was found in a building that is home to a media organization. (Namely NBC) This case of anthrax is of the kind that affects the skin and it isn't as serious as the 3 cases in Florida. Here's a link.http://www.msnbc.com/news/638169.asp So the dance continues......

Damn it. Sorry about that. It's like the freaking post error police here.

That should be "post-error," MIB. All kidding and light-hearted attempts at humor aside, this is really getting be scary in and of itself. Three cases of anthrax in Florida at the headquarters for the Sun and National Enquirer. Now a fourth case that was in an envelope destined for Tom Brokaw. Whoever is behind this seems to be targeting media giants and personalities.

If this were another terrorist attack, it wouldn't be a very effective one. Anthraxing the population one person at a time? That's going to take a while...

Maybe it's the Right-Wing ... they finally decided to do something about the "liberal bias" in the media

Speaking of Rush Limbaugh, I just read an article saying that he announced he is going deaf. His hear has already been failing him and he says he'll be totally deaf by mid-next year. Oh well, sucks for him...

*Takes 359 by the ear and gently leads him towards the Flameboard, where the 'Rush's Ears' thread clings to life*So, the Tally-boys are using germ warfare, hm? Now, I don't want to suggest that this should be our retaliatory action, but... has anyone ever heard that song, "Anything You Can Do, I Can Do Better?" Attack me one, shame on you. Attack me twice, turn to goo.

I guess you missed the thread devoted to Herr Limbaugh's loss of hearing. It's very amusing. The thread, I mean, not his loss of hearing.

That's something I really miss about New York--the headlines on the newspapers. I got a really good laugh when I saw the New York Post on Monday with the headline of "TALI-BAM!" No one else around me saw the amusement factor. They followed it up the next day with "KABULSEYE!"

I bet it's some psycho like the Unabomber skilled in medical research. He's probably using the terrorist attacks to get his deadly idea attention. But that's my theory. It seems to small-scale for terrorists.

Check the story posted in the new thread about the anthrax stuff. There's been a case in Nevada, which came in an envelope mailed from Malaysia, and the letter in New York came from New Jersey. This would not seem to be a single person doing this...

OK, maybe this has larger implications. Anyone watch ABC's "This Week?" There was some pretty good talk about the anthrax reports.[ October 14, 2001: Message edited by: Veers ]
