Went to a party last night as Indy Jones. There was a Psycho Porn Nurse, a gunslinger, a Jedi, a German, Baby Jesus, a rooster (I mean, raven), a few Vampires ("Nightstalker"?) ...

My friends and I went to a Halloween party at a frat house.
What did I go as?
The poor sap who stupidly volunteered to be designated driver for the night.
(it was a fucking party man...)

I almost went to a party held by 2 coworkers Saturday night before going to work but A) my roommates refused to let he have a lab coat for my mad scientist costume & B) I fell asleep.
Posted by Grokca (Member # 722) on :
Gee Mars that was a crappy costume your going to have to do better next year.

I'm going to watch Enterprise, and then I'm going to...I don't know. Who wants to?
Posted by David Templar (Member # 580) on :
Hear hear, ditto on watching Enterprise. No party to go to, but I do have a belated costume competition on Saturday. I'm going as a Digimon. *gets shot* It's an anime competition! *gets shot again*

Well, I'm goingto be watching Enterprise, and then im sad to say i dont have any plans since my girl and i reached a rather sad ending this week, and im just too depressed to really think about being social.
However another girl just invited me to take her out and do some pretty serious drugs with her because she was lonely too, but i said no because Nancy Reagan said so (although id probably have changed my mind if i could have come up with a place to crash tonight)
So now i am alone, watching star trek with two girls mad at me, one of whom i love and cant have.
Happy Halloween

After coming back from, er, being out, the one thing I love is to read about American teenagers (and twenty-somethings) and their inability to do anything without either saying "no, that's bad", or going way to far and deceiding that the best way to enjoy a night out is to inject battery acid into your veins.
Having said that, which Digimon did you go as David?
Posted by Malnurtured Snay (Member # 411) on :
I just had a few beers. Not battery acid.

During the day, I went to class. This evening, I went to work. And now I'm here.
For some reason, I don't find quasi-Christian holidays good excuses to do anything special. :-)

Let's see, I went to my ops management class, got a cold cut combo from Subway, studied my ass off for statistics, watched Enterprise, discovered that my ass was back, and studied my ass off for statistics some more. Another glorious Halloween for the Siegmeister.

Oh, and I watched ST5. I'm not sure why.
Posted by Vogon Poet (Member # 393) on :
Neither am I, to be honest. 8)
We got two trick-or-treaters. Round here, most kids of that age are too busy dealing drugs to bother with sweets anyway.

Well, if you want to scare yourself, it tops any haunted house I've been to...
Mars:
it was a fucking party
A Hallowe'en orgy? Wow, the holiday has really deteriorated...

I went to class, got a haircut, watched Enterprise, ate the candy that was for the kids, spilled lasagna on the floor, and changed my calenders over to November...

I painted the trim in my new apartment. The carpet comes in on Monday_tuesday, and then I can start moving in.
Bachelor pad!!!
Posted by Malnurtured Snay (Member # 411) on :
Please don't tell me you painted it the boring off-white that everyone paints their homes and apartments. Did you give it some color, at least?
Anyhoo, congrats. Always fun to get your own place.

Pale sunshine yellow in the bedroom and kitchen. Light Chambray (bluish) on three walls each in the library and the living room. Dark Chambray (deep blue with a slight green) on the fourth wall for emphasis.
Anybody got some Art Deco furniture they want to part with?
Posted by Malnurtured Snay (Member # 411) on :
You've got a library?
Two bedroom, converted one to a library, I'm guessing?
Posted by Michael_T (Member # 144) on :
Well, I watched Enterprise before going out to the annual West Hollywood Halloween Carnaval. I had fun and kinda insulted a woman police officer since I thought she was a man in drag.
Posted by PsyLiam (Member # 73) on :
Ah. Who hasn't had that happen to them?
(on the downside, this is kinda ruining my whole "no, I go to a Star Trek forum where everyone has a life!" arguments. Even Lee didn't manage anything. Come on people, surprise me.)
Posted by OnToMars (Member # 621) on :
Ya, Omega, realized after the fact that I prolly should've place italic emphasis in there somewhere.
It was a fucking party.
As for Halloween night itself, I didn't watch Enterprise! Ha!
I went to dinner in the Student Village with friends roundabout that time and skipped my Flight Meeting (ROTC, that is). And I was rather looking forward to Jeffrey Combs. Oh well.
Oh, and I went to a club with my aforementioned friends later that night, but only stayed for a little while as I had gotten no sleep the previous night. (A little tip: Never wait until the last minute to design a rocket.) And I'm not really the clubbing type - though my friends are.

PsyLiam: Contest's saturday, I'm gonna be Mummymon. Tried my costume on earlier, I look 1337.
TSN: Good god man, if you wanted so badly to kill yourself, you could have just watched ST9. I mean, ST5? Are you trying to send your soul to hell or something?
Posted by Sol System (Member # 30) on :
If it helps, Liam, I spent fifty minutes today sitting next to an attractive girl.

David: Actually, my tape of Insurrection is still at my parents' house. The only ST movie that isn't w/ me. Somehow, it was separated from the others, and I keep forgetting to look for it when I'm there...

Exactly. I don't need two bedrooms for me and Julie.

Well it seems that for the most part everyone who posted here had an okay Halloween. At least it beats vomiting your head off at the police station detox area.
