Okay, so this thread isn't actually about things that make you go "mmmmmm". But I have a question on the intricacies of online chatting. Let's say you were talking to a girl on ICQ, MSN Messenger, or a similar chat program. If the girl periodically typed "mmmmmmm", would you get the impression she was getting off (even for a split-second before you realise from the context etc. that she's not)? Now this happened to me when I was talking to someone, and I had to mention it eventually. It's clear the person was meaning to convey uncertainty or confusion by writing "mmmmmm", but I would write "hmmmmm" in this situation instead.
Your thoughts? Is it just me?

I have no idea what impression I'd get.

Well think about it, these things can be important to avoid misunderstandings in this age of online chatting.

I'd wager that she fell asleep on her M key.

I think it would totally depend on the context of the conversation. If I was asking her about my tax return, I doubt I'd read orgasm into that.
So...what was the context of the conversation...?

I'd be suspicious of any girl getting off over ICQ. Unless you've found the one girl in the world who finds that "uh-oh" noise the most erotic thing ever.

Sex and "uh-oh" are two things that are best not combined...

Then again, if you separate the two syllables: "Uh" and "oh!" it may be taken as moaning in response to a certain carnal activity.

Ah, maybe she just forgets to put the "h" in... that or she was eating soup when you were talking to her.

Fat-ass Penguin: Thanks for the vote of confidence.
Let me see, what was the context,...just humour, something funny, can't remember what.
