I want to make an text/html editor that is accessable from my own website and which is capable of editing text and/or html files which are also on my website.
Is this possible with some kind of simple java(script) program?
Can anyone help me out here? I've searched several javascript sites, but appearantly this is not do-able with just that language... I have no experience with other languages...

They already have such items. They're called "Perl scripts."
