In all honesty, the fourth installation of the Duke is likely to kick ass, if they don't wait too long and let the game engine go obso.

Ah, but much have been done since.
Remember, "Max Payne" went through major revamps many times before going gold, due to the tech getting old, and the lack of damage zones on the enemies was a bit lacking (You could shoot them in the head or the foot with the same results).
But the "bullet-time" and jumping/sliding features, coupled with the great background plot and cut-scenes more than made up for that, IMO.
