After five months of treading in the deep pool in the annals of unemployment, I finally got a job through a government sponsored program.
I'll be working starting July 15. WHOO HOO!!! I'm kicking in the wind!!!!
Well, sad reminder though. The program in which helped me get a job is slated for the government axe next year. All to pay for Tax Cuts. This is one program that they shouldn't cut. If it helped me, it can help anyone who was like me, looking for work.

My official title will be Junior I.T. Support. I'll be working for a Travel Company (pretty big, if you ask me). After Six months, they may opt to hire me for full time (they could hire me before that). But in the meantime, I'll be collecting increased government benefits to help me while I work there.

Meijer (a big US grocery store and general merchandise chain) has their own version of that song. "i'm so exicited, i work at Meijer!" and so on and so forth. congrats on your new job, Tahna Los.
