Although WHY anyone would need this....

Is it even legal to mount that kind of weaponry? LOL.

might come in handy for the slow drivers that get confused around the 95-195 merge. I'd like to teach a few of them a lesson.

I find that TurboBoost and Ski Mode would be more effective in heavy traffic situations than heavy artillery.

i havetwo dummy buttons on my dash labeled _*PHASERS*_ and _*PHOTON TORPEDOES*_ and people always try and hit the torpedo button first! i have to stop them, and I'm all like
"Didn't you see 'Q Who?' or 'New Ground'!? if the torps detonate too close, theyll damage us too with radiation!!, and beside we only have so many til we get back to the AlphaQuadrant!!!!
and theyre all like
'But the phasers have been rerouted through the warp drive! we cant fire while we're at warp.. thats why i countermanded your phaser order!'
Keep in mind these conversations take place when i'm alone.

I believe you're thinking of "The Nth Degree". There were no comments about firing a torpedo close to the ship in "Q Who".

I thought it was the episode where Alexander came to live with Worf, and the little laddie was caught in the biolab with the worm-things. The Enterprise needed to fire torpedoes to dissipate a wave, but gaps in the shielding caused the biolab to be open to radiation damage.

Well, with the conversation going on in his head, it's no wonder why there was an error.

Ah... this might be the perfect tool to reduce road rage! Because all of the idiots who are too slow/stupid get blown off the highway. And after a while, no one would dare drive like a madman for fear of getting blown away themselves.
I've occasionally wished for something similar, but not nearly such a high caliber. A hood-mounted dart rifle would be fine, to blow out the tires of the asshole who just cut me off.

Hey, at least Captain Mike's car isn't a BMW that's geared up like James Bond's car including condom dispensers, champagne bottle chillers, and surface to air missle launchers.

The Champagne chiller was in his Aston Martin. Pay attention, man...

Condom dispensers... El Capitan might have a use for those.

That's a good way to avoid a multi-car accident, especially at a high rate of speed on a heavily traveled highway or major road.
_*NOT*_

Already got one on order. Me and Paul go way back. Who else did you think would suggest this sort of design?

Ah, okay. Sorry, I assumed that we weren't being totally logical here. I mean, who the hell would want to have a machine gun mounted on their SUV anyway? For real?

The Road Warrior.
Any Batman villain.

In 'Q Who' they met the Borg for the first time and were running from them and there was discussion of firing more torpedoes without rendering the Enterprise uninhabitable i thought.
New Ground actually did so, causing major damage to the (apparently) aft-ward, secondary hull lab with Alexander and the slug thing.
Dont remember anything about torpedoes in 'The nth Degree'.. maybe you wrong
havent needed a condom dispenser yet. i have a 1988 ST:TNG lunchbox full of them in the trunk. its the blue plastic one with the picture of the season 1 cast with flying asteroids with guns behind them. quite nonsensical. i didnt buy the condoms, they were handing them out to all the kids on the street and they gave me a lot (i think because i was lying on the hood of my car with 2 girls) but i havent needed one yet. once i do need one or more than one i would consider a dispenser, but until then im going to continue saying no and posting the hourglass to the left there.

I am so right here it's untrue. They were firing aft torpedoes at the Borg in "Q Who", but there was no discussion of radiation or whatnot. The fact that the torpedoes weren't doing any damage at all was the main thing.
In "The Nth Degree", they werre being chased by a probe thingy. They tried firing phasers at it, and it had no effect. Someone suggested torpedoes, but it turned out it would damage the ship. Barclay, now a super genius, diverted warp power from the engines to the shields, boosting them by a Really Big Amount (good thing Scotty never ever did something like that, eh?) This allowed them to fire the aft torpedoes without damaging the ship.
I rule. You are wrong, Mr Fake Captain. In your large face!
