Has anyone changed the link to this forum since yesterday? Because when I clicked on the link in my IE favorites, I came to the old 5.38 UBB and when I tried to access a forum I got the message "Go to hell, hacker. Your IP has been logged. Hava a nice day."

Yup.
So how did you manage to get to the real place then?

Since the ultimate.cgi-Link didn't work, I tried only "flare.solareclipse.net".

Yeah, and that one sends you to

The one showing the scary old pre-millenium Flare is

DO YOU SEE THE SEXY DIFFERENCE?

Interestingly, the WayBack machine also coughs up that SCARY "I eat hackers for breakfast" notice.
'Tis toughguyspeak, of course, but entertaining nonetheless.

Actually, Tim is the one more likely to eat hackers for breakfast. With a side order of trucker.

No need to shout.
I had http://flare.solareclipse.net/cgi/ultimatebb.cgi in my IE favorites, but until today it always brought me to the 6.4.

I hear, though, that hackers contain all kinds of healthy vitamins and nutricious proteins. So those side orders are roughly cancelled out.

It should be noted that the old link doesn't work anymore. I get a good ol' 404 now.

/cgi anything has been a redirector to /cgi2 for a very, very long time.
At some point this morning, the redirector broke for a short time, letting the old code run.
I have fixed the redirctor.
Please update your bookmarks - the next time the redirector breaks, it won't be fixed, and you'll be 404ed.

Shouldn't that have been:
"This bookmarking to out of date URLs stops. Now."
