A pretty cool concept, and one that has spurred considerable interest within the AFOL community. Take a look! Here’s an explanation of just WHAT the Lego Moonbase project is. Essentially, it’s a system whereby fans of Lego can construct moonbase modules on their own using a common set of module-connectors to form a giant base should they ever get together (much the way Lego train fans put on giant train shows combining works from a dozen or more people for one large layout).
There about a dozen modules on the net so far. Take a look at Lugnet to dig some of the others up. At least two to three are added every day ... it’s great to see what people’s imaginations can cook up.
And I figured the concept alone would interest many of my fellow Flareites more then Lego usually doesn’t.

Posted by EdipisReks (Member # 510) on :

he asked how you sleep when your beds are burning. i said that you don't need a blanket in the winter when your bed is burning, thus implying that you sleep warmly.

I don't understand what held you to post this here so late, Jeff. Then again, watching the overwhelmingly favorable response, I don't understand why you posted it at all.
Neat project. I expect to see most of those interconnected, because it wouldn't have any sense otherway.
