hm. 'sbeen a while, I see at least some of you guys are still here. I just returnes from a Greek adventure and my brother said there was some kind of message from this place only now we can't find it. It did bring back memories from times in my life now best forgotten, so I did a search and lo, here I am. So just what was so important that I should know?

Whoa ... a double digit member. Not too many of them around. [Wink]

It could have been longer, if I had had a middle name.

*blinks*

You probably received an email about a private message that was sent eons ago, before the switch to UBB version what.ever occured (FUBARing the link in the process).

Dang, #27. I only know you from the archives (which I've been sifting through recently), as you were long gone by the time I had gathered enough courage to set foot in the OL, but welcome back. :]

It was, indeed, a private message, I found it so never mind. I left this place two years ago or so after losing interest in trek and getting a real life. I'll see if I can find the archives and laugh at my own young and naive antics :]

I did. [Big Grin]

Ye gods! He still exists!

Indeed. I am shocked and hungry.

Also, it is good to know that having an interest in Trek equates having no life. This is staggering news. No wonder I feel so horrible and sexy!

You you look it too....

*sigh* I want to insult, but I can't, it'd just be too easy with that one... [Razz]

You mean its the Trek that is keeping the "real life" away? Damn. And it was kinda a neat hobby...

Posted by Ritten (Member # 417) on :

mmm, yes, 359, I do believe you are right there...

and who put the s in lithp???

Real Life's "Send Me an Angel" was a good tune....

again hm..

I said I lost interest in trek, AND I got a real life. Anyone who remembers my puerile moaning about that should be relieved. Anyway, those are the TWO reasons that made me leave this place. Apparently I touched a sensitive spot here :]

So, how do you like it? Real life, that is. Is it what you expected?

I've been waiting for someone to touch a sensitive spot.

Real life ... what is that? I must seek this real life. Although I've stopped watching Trek 6 months ago and I don't think I've yet achieved it. Though I would say I have much more of a life now than before. Not that I had a choice in not watching Enterprise either.

No, but it seems to be difficult for you to see that no-one else has connected the issues since the last time you said that.

Hobbes did, but it's no reason to go apeshit like that.

Sorry about that people, but I count at least three people: hobbes, Cartman and toadkiller. Anyway, back then, I needed this board for my daily contact. Now that I'm at university I don't need it anymore. That, and the fact that I lost interest in trek, and therefore in half th subjects here, is what made me leave this place, with no hard feelings or anything. I realise that for most people, this board is an additional source of socialisation. I also realise that many sociable folks watch trek, I know quite a few myself. I hope I have cleared this up sufficiently.

Trek isn't real... this explains the return to sender letters I've received from Starfleet Academy... Letter Carriers muttering things about Santa Claus, next thing I know he's not real also....

RW, people grow, people shouldn't get on the defensive side, it takes all the fun out of being a smart-ass....

Anyway, nice to meet you.

WB RW. Pop your head round the door every now and again. How is University? Enjoying it?

By the way... nice touching of my sensitive spot.. [Big Grin]

I on the other hand hadn't meant to touch any special spots.

I mean, I wasn't wearing gloves or anything - and I hardly know you people!

[Eek!]
