Also (1), fotons can't transfer *information* at speeds greater than c. Unless we're talking quantum entanglement, but that's a whole 'nother mother.
Also (2), group velocity of a pulse can exceed c. Nothing new or groundbraking about a phase-shift occuring at superluminal speed...
