I used Windows Paint and saved it as a JPEG. It's not very 1337, but it works.

you should have file format options when you save. choose JPEG.

Paint in Windows 98 can also save GIF and JPEG files. Paint in Windows 98 also allows you to save in the PNG format. I have no idea why it isn't working for First of Two (assuming he's running XP or 98).

BTW the MS Paint save as JPG or GIF capability is handicapped in many versions of windows, but it has been available in 98, 00 and XP. i dont think XP has a handicapped paint, but i do (with 98) my dads laptop can tho with 98 for some reason.
to save your character to reprogram it, you can grab its code and copy it into a text editor, and then paste it back in to avoid rechoosing all the graphics. its one of the buttons, bottom left.
