I read and saw on the news that a large dust cloud is heading for the Australian Eastern Sea-board.

I then went looking for some satellite images...
So here is an animation of the last half-a-day... and you can see it speeding over the continent!
You can see the large trough extend from the Tasman sea all the way up and around to the top of Western Australia!!

It's nearly here... the sky is getting browny/yellow!!

as long as you dont smell wierd honeysuckle scents and see pasty faced redshirts everywhere, accompanied by anomalous dikironium readings, you should be allright.

Heh heh. Actually when I heard it was coming I thought of the Mars Trilogy!! Except those last for years
It's building up now... it's night-time but the lights in the distance are getting hazier.
It's a freak once-in-thirty-years thing but, It's also not good... cause on the air you can smell the smoke and ash from bushfires that have been burning across the country. And a lot of it is topsoil, blown of drough-stricken farms. Oh and also desert sand, a few thousand KM away.

I hope the cloud isn't ridden with little missiles designed to penetrate the planet's crust.
