Midnight has rolled by here, everyone else has gone to sleep, and I'm a bit bored. So I'd like to wish all of you good wishes for the season, and hope next year is as good for us all as this was, at least as good as it was for me. And spare a thought for absent friends (just got an email from Monty!). 8)

It's snowing here. Hah! Ya'll suck.
Posted by MinutiaeMan (Member # 444) on :
It was snowing at my house too last night... and when I wake up this morning, it's raining. That sucks.
Merry Christmas, anyway.

Leave that to Snay, he's got the best tool for the trade.
Best wishes to everyone... in this year and the next.

Merry Christmas to all!!!
And for once in a few years, a really white Christmas. Complete with broken down cars and Fender Benders.
So please, drive safely as well. Easy on the alcohol if you are driving.

No snow here - none! It's the first year I can ever remember where the was no snow by Christmas time here in Spo-compton... praise the lord, though... with the new car and all, I'm scared to death of the very THOUGHT of snow!

We actually got a half-a-foot or so of snow two days before Xmas. I think it's the first year in a while that there's been snow on the ground on 25. December.

It can be 2pm and still 'yesterday' in the States y'know.
We had a wild, wild storm with lots of thunder and lightning and buckets or rain.

so we spoil new Trek episodes for foreigners, and foreigners spoil what the date will be tomorrow.. fair enough
we had a massive storm.. my family was out visiting and i was home alone, playing with the new toys.. and we have had almost a foot of snow here, otherwise id be out at the special club fetish night at club hell. there was even a few lightning strikes with thunder, which puzzles me. but then again, today had cloudy, windy, not windy, sunny, rain, sleet, hail, freezing rain, and snow, so there were only a few types of weather we missed out on. it kinda reminded me of Rura Penthe in ST:VI.. but thats because I'm wierd... when i was switching my printers, the Lexmark was on the chair next to me and the Epson was on the edge of the bed and i looked at them for a sec and swore i was sitting with two Medusan ambassadors. I'm wierd.

Happy Christmas, Lee and KAte, and all at Flare!!

Heard something about this recently. It can happen under very spicific conditions, although they didn't say what the conditions were.

It's a little late. But Merry Christmas. X-mas day was pretty nice here in P.A. Sask. Sunny, six below, perfect if you like winter. Which I don't! Mwuhaha!

Happy late Chewbacca or whatever it is you all celebrate.
Cold and rainy here in Sequim, WA. There's apparently a hell of a windstorm going on, but we're in the rainshadow and it hasn't been too bad (I was even able to get some nice shots of the Olympics through the new camera when there was a break in the clouds this afternoon)...
Posted by Sol System (Member # 30) on :
You live in Sequim? Huh. Not a town you hear mentioned all that often.
Posted by PsyLiam (Member # 73) on :
Or ever in my life.
Posted by Topher (Member # 71) on :
There was snow on Christmas here... Mind you it started at 1700. Then continued until about 1200 Boxing day... Lots o' snow now.
Posted by StarFire (Member # 748) on :
Had the same weather TSN did. Except in ILL the snow didn't really hit until noon Christmas Eve.
Posted by PsyLiam (Member # 73) on :
Pft. You're just trying to bask in his reflected glory by having the same weather. It's sooooo transparent.

"his reflected glory"
? Posted by Balaam Xumucane (Member # 419) on :
Simon: I've run into a surprising number of people who have actually heard of Sequim, however, I do not live there. My grandparents live there and as they are getting on in age our family now visits them every Xmas. It was cold and drizzly there when I left. But there wasn't much wind. How much of this storm did you get down in Ellensburg? We didn't get that far east on our drive back.
So, I'm back in the SF Bay area now. It's partly cloudy with magnificent and warm sun. I've really missed that thing.
Posted by PsyLiam (Member # 73) on :
Why would you want warm sun at Christmas? It's crazy.

Oooohhh...yes. I am soooo jealous of his manlyhood and his...Timness. I just gotta compete.
Anyway, snow is gone now.
Posted by PsyLiam (Member # 73) on :
"Timness" is now an adjective. I have made it law.
Posted by Sol System (Member # 30) on :
Curses!
(I'm actually an hour south of Ellensburg for the holidays. Weather report during storm: Windy, but not too much. Some rain.)
Posted by TSN (Member # 31) on :
How can "Timness" be an adjective? What would it mean?
Posted by Fleet-Admiral Michael T. Colorge (Member # 144) on :
Liam, having a sunny and warm Christmas means you can unwrap your present outdoors. Too bad Los Angeles was warmer than the Bay Area.
Posted by PsyLiam (Member # 73) on :
But...why would you want to unwrap them outdoors? Christmas is for inside, big jumpers, central heating, snuggleness. Not sunbathing.
Tim is now an adjective, verb, and everything else.
"He's displaying a lot of Timness there" means that the chap in question is oozing sexual charm. Roughly the same meaning can be got from "He's a real Tim, that one."
Posted by TSN (Member # 31) on :
Yeah, but those are both nouns. I asked about "Timness" as an adjective. "He's a really Timness guy"? I don't think so.
Posted by E. Cartman (Member # 256) on :

You have no idea how many angles there are on that one, Timaficionado.

Tim. Tim Tim Tim Tim. Timmy Tim Tim Tim. TIMMY!
Man, this is even more Tim than Smurfspeak. Tim!

Liam, if your present was a pair of blond twins only wearing a red bow... then why not do it outdoors on the beach?
Posted by PsyLiam (Member # 73) on :
You'd get sand all over you, for one.

Here's a reason: they're related! Any sex with both of them at the same time takes on more than a twinge of incest.
