That's nothing to drool about... Now this is something to drool about... [Big Grin] [Cool]

Man, I couldn't click that '1 (WORST)' fast enough. A Bronco with smiley face covers on the foglights is just wrong.

You guys are just fucking pissed that you don't have one of those gracing your desks.

I doubt a '79 Bronco could fit in my house, let alone on my desk... [Wink]

I have a lot of crap gracing my desk. I'd be willing to bet something among the pile must outclass your LEGO Millennium Falcon

Posted by Snay (Member # 411) on :

It's not mine, actually.

And, no, I doubt anything on your desk outclasses that.

Take your pick from the varied selection:

I see nothing as involved as a fan taking a bunch of building blocks of assorted shapes and sizes and constructing a recognizable and detailed model of one of the most famous starships of the science-fiction genre.

The ship I posted is a work of art, as much as a computer image of a Federation starship. Why must I be derided for my enjoyment of artists who work in the medium which is Lego?

Posted by The359 (Member # 37) on :

Because you make it easy for us to pick on you.

Posted by Snay (Member # 411) on :

Why? Because I enjoy Lego? Gee, maybe I should make fun of you for enjoying Star Trek. [Roll Eyes]

Posted by The359 (Member # 37) on :

But then you'd only be making fun of yourself, so if you want to do that, go right ahead [Big Grin]

Lego weirdos versus Star Trek nerds is perhaps not the fight of the century.

Things on my desk include a stapler, a single-serving of Swiss Miss hot chocolate (unopened) and some Halls left over from when I had a sore throat last year.

this is like a bizarro universe version of the 'post your desktop' thread.

Posted by Sol System (Member # 30) on :

In fact, I think we once had a "describe everything on your desk" thread, shortly after our "so, what are you wearing?" thread and before the famed "my life is filled with pointless mundanities and I long for death" thread.

Hey. We're not LEGO Wierdos! I like LEGO. I plan to keep all my LEGO's for my kids. or nephews/neices whatever. LEGO is the most creative toy in the whole world!

Hey! Quit knocking Lego! [Mad]

It provided me with hours of fun when I was a kid and provided me with a form of escape from reality.

So knock it off!

Snay: how's about I hold 'em while you hit them?
[Big Grin] [Big Grin] [Big Grin]

Da_bang80: I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one saving Lego for their next generation. Makes me feel that much better.
[Big Grin] [Big Grin] [Big Grin]

You might notice the LEGO Minifig sitting on the upper part of my desk in the picture. In front of the books. It's an inside joke between me and my girlfriend.

Because they're about the same size, you see...
