Actually, Magnus, one of my fondest high school memories is my friend Ash and me in his Geo Metro -- with the back cargo area full of subwoofer -- cruising past the wannabes gathered in front of the school being cool playing "Ride of the Valkyries" loud enough to drown out their boom-chick-boom-mobiles.

Yeah, Spokane may not be known for it's excessive amounts of naughtiness, but that's not really a bad thing And no Incon here... I'm not into that kind of stuff....

Actually, Mucus, I do... one for my compoenet speankers (mids and highs) and one is for the subwoofers.... or subwoofer, as the case may be. I think I'm going ot drop from two subs to only one so that I can get some on my trunk space back. The new sub I want is enough alone to blow the two that I have out of the water in both sound quality (my focus) and volume, depending on who I'm showing off to.

And just for the record, my system and I do NOT do that! Currently my car is soundproofed enough that even with it cranked, you don't hear a thing from the outside. And with the new sub in the trunk, I'll be doing a lot more soundproofing to it so that I'm not "disturbing the peace". I get annoyed by loud systems in little rice rockets, too! Besides, my system isn't about volume - it's about quality

Surely, if sounds that loud are unable to get from the inside to the outside, then any sounds at or below that volume will be unable to get from the outside to the inside? Like, for example, other cars' horns, or emergency vehicles' sirens?
