So far, from the 2-hour Law and Order Season Finale, I dredged up a couple of references of cases "Ripped from the Headlines":

- Laci Petersen's murder (even with the husband "pleading" for his wife's safe return).
- That woman who "accidently" ran over her husband 5 or 6 times.
- Michael Jackson's dangling of a baby and allegations regarding sexual abuse of young boys.

Phew.
