Pretty cool... they've found a star (about 90 light years away) that's about the same age and mass as Sol, and has a gas giant that's approximately the same distance from the star as Jupiter is. Both stats meaning that an Earth-like planet is much, much more likely than in the more "irregular" systems we've found so far.

So, anyone heard from the Vulcans yet? [Wink]

90 lightyears out huh?
If we leave now, do a quick survey when we get there and then return hume, we might be lucky enough that Dick Clark will be dead by the time we return home.
.......mabye.

It's hard to gauge weight from the photos of him I've seen, but I'm willing to speculate that they've found Christopher Masterson. Questionable 'star' quality, though.

There's no planets in that system.
The "gas giant" is just the shunted mass of James Cameron's ego.

150ish lbs., I think. Possibly less. I eat not so well or often. Also, Tom is kinder to me than I would be. Perhaps if this star has a big fat face and a dopey woe-is-me expression.
