Anyway, Enterprise isn't on for another few weeks, and I'm sure the situation will have settled down by then. The MPAA just needs some more time and publicity to scare the people away from BitTorrent.

Y'know, when I read the farewell message at Suprnova, I got the impression that they shut down because of server trouble (too much traffic, presumably), not legal trouble.

Well, my impression was that they chickened out and why not? As the largest and most hyped bittorrent community, they and their users would be most heavily targetted. By spreading out to other sites and other venues they pose a smaller target.
It had become obvious that Suprnova had become too large when Suprnova had suddenly become synonymous with bittorrent in certain quarters. We're talking about the same people that think IE is "The Internet" or those that confuse a windows manager with an OS.
