Dang. I only started watching him in high school, his last 4 years of doing the show. Truly the King of Late Night TV, and there will never be another.

Anyone that could sit nexrt to Ed McMahon for all those years and not have him killed was truly a great man.

...and his "Karnak" schtick was funny too.
