I've been working on updating my Brickshelf Gallery with a full butt-load of photos. You can find that here.

It's certainly... tall.

Posted by Malnurtured Snay (Member # 411) on :

Two hundred bricks tall.

You, sir, are a lego god.

Look out! Don't feed his lego ego. It could be very bad. Like, total protonic reversal throughout the universe. Important safety tip.

VERY cool.

Go for a lego Spacedock next.....mabye a lego Planetkiller or lego Temporal Weapon ship.

Or a Lego Borg Cube.

British Man-of-War circa 1800.

The HMS Suprise prahaps?

Or a life size Lego "girl" - hubba-hubba

Modeled on it, Jason. I'm three books into the O'Brian series now -- actually, hah-hah, I'm about 250 pages into "HMS Surprise"!

Toad:

Aaaaah ... no.

I used to love Lego's so much so I used to be in the Lego fan club. I remeber in one of the magazines I read a person made a Lego Ent-D as well as the Millennium Falcon before the official Lego Falcon was produced. Nice job. Is it from a kit or did you make it from scratch?

Posted by Malnurtured Snay (Member # 411) on :

That's scratch, baby.

Where is Hermione?

Do a life-sized Buckbeak! Or what about Hogsmead?

Hermoine, Harry, and Ron can be seen at the Gryffindor Table in the Great Hall.

Ron can also be seen on the bench atop the Garden Tower.

Another Harry will eventually be flying around the clock tower on his broom.

I don't like Harry Potter, but even I can appreciate this Lego masterpiece. I'd like to see a lego Star Destroyer or Mon Cal Cruiser (that one would probably be difficult)

How bout a life size working model of the Death Star? You can build it in space. I'm sure NASA will let you use the space shuttles to ferry up those trillions upon trillions of grey lego bricks.

And then some little prick blows it up with two little 'proton' torpedoes.

Oh - I pressed random at that lego page and found this: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=1288087

I think that looks pretty good - the inner circle spins. They should have used a blue dot on top of the DHD since it seems to be a Pegasus gate.

Oh, also, future projects?: an escort carrier for my space fighters --

Got me beat- I'm on book one- though I'll have ample time to read it during the next three days or so.

Are those Vipers?

Posted by Malnurtured Snay (Member # 411) on :

... no.

I'm almost finished The Mauritis Command.

LEGO proton torpedoes. They have to be lego or they won't work. The only thing that can destroy Lego is Lego. That or a microwave.

Or a blowtorch...

What about a Kiron energy-based weapon... it worked on the replicators! [Smile]

That's your answer for everything, isn't it... a blowtorch! [Wink]
