Can you buy a cow-catcher for yours? Mabye a biig snowplow to just barrell through the deer....could be a cool "A-Team" attachment.

Well, it won't be long now, before the cars for model year x come out in the year x - 2...

Just make sure you steer clear of this man.

He's not a deer killer - he's a lawyer killer.

That little american flag pin he wears makes me want to smack the smile off his face...
As though this asshole should represent my country in any way.

Is it just me or is that 2007 jeep design less inspired than ever? I mean, it's nice, not ugly at all, but it's exempt of any style or curves. Like a toy truck. Smooth as a baby's butt or an empty canvas. I smell a chop-shop docusoap in the making!!

I don't understand this statement. Hmm?
Posted by MinutiaeMan (Member # 444) on :
He means that it's not even close to the year 2007 yet. That the release of new model vehicles is being pushed back further every year. And that if they get pushed back even further, then they'll be announcing the Jeep model 2008 as early as December 2006. Which is really quite stupid.
Posted by Malnurtured Snay (Member # 411) on :
Um. The 2007 HASN'T been released.
Posted by Topher (Member # 71) on :
If you go to car manufacturer websites, you'll see advertisements and pictures for 2007 models, but they'll all tell you that the vehicle won't be available until fall/late 2006.
Posted by Malnurtured Snay (Member # 411) on :
If that were available now ... omg.

That alone should earn him a status as "hero". Now if he could just continue along those lines...

The new Chrysler Challenger concept looks really nice.
Looks almost identical to the classic muscle car. I want it!

I want to see the 10th generation Corolla...

You're a 20-something gay male, but still find girls attractive, and you eagerly await the next design of a family sedan? You really are messed up.
Posted by TSN (Member # 31) on :
I think he's just making himself up as he goes along.
Posted by AndrewR (Member # 44) on :
Snay - why don't you get a big pair of antlers and tie them to the front of the Jeep and you can buck people out of the way.
Posted by Da_bang80 (Member # 528) on :
While he's at it he can get a white suit, a cigar, and start calling himself Boss Hogg. Sorry. I just finished watching the Dukes of Hazzard. Willy Nelson has some good one liners.
Posted by Jason Abbadon (Member # 882) on :
He's become a good one-liner.
I like the antlers idea...though Snay would have a pack of horney doe folowing him after he unwittingly slaughtered all the deer competeing for dominance... Kind of a pied piper of venison, Snay could hire himself out to hunting clubs for that "canned hunt" effect.
Mabye Cheney could become a member, then we'd have the ear of the most powerful republican in America.

"canned hunt" *snickers*
Posted by Malnurtured Snay (Member # 411) on :
There was a guy up here who had antlers on his Jeep. Haven't seen him or his Jeep in a long time.
Posted by Nim (Member # 205) on :
Antlers, tailpipe mufflers, some deer urine sprayed on the sides...they won't see him coming.
The Chrysler Challenger concept is interesting in that it is a step back in design evolution. Some philosophers claim that western society has gotten stuck in post-postmodernism and will never get any further in terms of innovative fashion, all that is left is endless pastiche and repetiton.
I mean really, what could possibly come after postmodernism? We tried futurism and that was shot to hell by Mussolini.

I want Art Deco back. When you think of cool buildings and cars that look sleek, it's Art Deco you want- sleek lines that make the object seem to want to move. Even mundane buildings in that style seem to be reaching upward (like the Colony Hotel in Miami or Christler building).
I'm sick to death of unimigantive crap like the Scion- it's a shoebox with wheels! Real innovative.
Posted by Da_bang80 (Member # 528) on :
Lol. That was my first impression of the Honda Element.
Posted by Jason Abbadon (Member # 882) on :
Yeah- another major offender in that category- the Hummer too. All the grace of a garbage truck.

Wait a minute... who says I find girls attractive... more scary than attractive. And yes I like driving something dependable.
Posted by Topher (Member # 71) on :
It is very possible to drive something that's dependable and not a goobermobile. Like, anything else that Toyota makes.
Posted by Vice-Admiral Michael T. Colorge (Member # 144) on :
What... like a Mazda 3 or a Civic? My family is a Toyota family and that's one tradition I plan to continue. My grandfather had one, my mother has one, and now my sisters and I have our own.

If you should ever look back at your life and wonder why you're gay, read this post.

"Like, anything else that Toyota makes."
"What... like a Mazda 3 or a Civic?"
At a guess, I would say no, given the whole made-by-Mazda-and-Honda-not-Toyota thing.
Posted by Topher (Member # 71) on :
Bravo, Tim.
Although I would be careful with the Toyota line these days. A friend of mine has a Yaris, and she was showing it to me. She opened the hood and I laughed. Uncontrollably. For a good few minutes.
Posted by Jason Abbadon (Member # 882) on :
I did the same afew years back when I jokingly thumped on her new Neon's pastic headlight cover and it fell off and cracked.
Posted by Vice-Admiral Michael T. Colorge (Member # 144) on :
I still don't see what's funny about driving Japanese cars? They are bloody dependable in Los Angeles as oppose to my friends who have their German cars end up more in the shop than on the road.
