Mine did a hickup with the calibration and now the screen has taken on a sickly yellow hue. I can fix it, but here's the but... I need a fresh parameter file from the USB Display Utility so I can rewrite the settings on mine (done this once before using a friend's 21" but he's since sold it). I've uploaded a copy of the Display Utility to here... http://homepages.slingshot.co.nz/~jimini/USB Display Service Utility.sit So if anyone feels like helping, just use the utility (in OS 9) to create a parameter file (don't worry, it won't do anything to your monitor unless you click the 'write' button afterwards) and email the parameter file to me. I'd really appreciate the help. So would my eyes Cheers! Jim.

I have a friend with a 17" CRT Apple Studio Display (We are talking about the 21" CRT Apple Studio Display and not a flat panel Cinema Display, right?). I dunno if it's the same or whether that'd help. What made it go wonky? (And might moving/removing the bad parameter file force the Utility to create a new (presumably not icky) one with default values?)
OS9? Not judging, but... Really?

Oh, well I have a LCD apple display, I guess it is 17 but I'd hate to walk in the other room and have to break out a ruler.
Unfortunately I don't have 9 so I'm not sure I can help in any case. What Mac are you running? OS X has much goodness you know.
I'd try the macaddict forums, especially the "balloon help" one - somebody there could probably help you.

bX - yeah, it is the CRT model. Unfortunately a 17" won't do the trick as they didn't have the built-in USB hub of the 21" - and the utility "knows" if it's there or not. What made it go wonky? Can't be certain but it may have something to do with a flashed video card...
Toadkiller - I'm running a humble G4 500MHz, OS X 10.4.5. Only problem is the copy of utility I have was for OS 9. But it won't run in Classic, only native OS 9.
Macaddict, hmm? Tried EveryMac's forums but they may have thought it was an April Fools bacause I didn't get a single response.
Cheers!
